The strong thick wood base positions and steadies paper (up to 30 sheets), as well as mat board, cardboard, film, tissue, or textiles, while the through-hardened, precision-angled steel blade delivers accurate cuts time after time. A sturdy metal clamp securely holds stacks against the permanent grid and dual English and metric rulers to help ensure proper alignment and avoid shifting or tearing. When not in use, a patented automatic blade latch keeps the blade stationary and secures it after every cutting motion is completed. Blades will not accidentally fall down during operation due to an innovative torsion spring mechanism. These trimmers also feature a cleverly designed finger guard that protects along the entire length of the blade for added safety.

These heavy duty cutters are designed for cutting poster board, mat board, foam mounting board, and other similar materials. They are capable of cutting the fine tissue up to 3/16" foam core. All models feature self sharpening steel blades, a self-adjusting clamp, and a lockable T-square back stop for accurate repetitive cuts. They are also labeled in both millimeters and inches with a laminated wood base and a 1” reference grid on the table. The fan guard ensures complete operator safety.
